I have decided to put myself forward as an independent candidate for Longford Westmeath in the next general election.
Longford Westmeath is where I grew up and is where I am now raising my family. I want to see the midlands progress over the coming years into the thriving beating heart of Ireland.
To do this we need to address the deficiencies and inequalities we experience in our communities, most cruically in housing, which is my main focus.
Although the current government is delivering more homes than the last, there is still a huge gap between where we are and where we need to get to.
I have many years experience as an Architect in the housing sector. I intend to put my skills and expertise to good use as a TD delivering solutions that build homes for current and future generations.
We need to ensure everyone has a warm comfortable place to live in their local area. If the private sector is not delivering in areas with a housing need then the next government must. I’ve decided to run because I want to take positive action and be a progressive and constructive voice for our communities.
