Louise Heavin's Manifesto

Launch of Manifesto 2024

Categories:

As we prepare for the upcoming General Election, I’m excited to share the first draft of my Election Manifesto for Longford/Westmeath. This manifesto outlines my vision for our community. Focusing on building a sustainable, fair, and prosperous future for everyone in Longford/Westmeath and across Ireland. This is just a starting point. Your insights are essential to make it stronger and more reflective of what Longford/Westmeath truly needs.

This draft touches on a range of critical issues, affordable housing, public transport and services, and supporting young families. It reflects feedback I’ve gathered from conversations with members of the public when canvasing over the past few weeks. I am now seeking even more voices to ensure it aligns with what matters most to you.

Why Your Feedback on the Manifesto Matters

Every community has unique needs. I believe that the best policy reflects the lived experiences and perspectives of its people. This first draft of the Election Manifesto is an open invitation for input from residents across Longford/Westmeath. This manifesto should be a roadmap we all believe in, and I want your voice in shaping it.

Please take a moment to review this manifesto. Think about what resonates, what needs strengthening, or if there’s anything missing. This is an opportunity to help craft a document that can bring meaningful change to our region. Your feedback is invaluable and can make a significant difference in creating a future we all want to see.

With each of your voices contributing to this document, I believe we can create a strong, united vision that genuinely reflects our community’s hopes, challenges, and ambitions. Together, let’s make our mark in the upcoming General Election and bring a fresh voice and new ideas to the Dáil. Thank you for being part of this journey, and for your ongoing support, insights, and encouragement.

Please take a look and share your thoughts.

Email your feedback to hello@louiseheavin.ie, and let’s work together to create a vision that represents us all.
