Interview on Midlands 103

Categories:

Today, I spoke on Midlands 103 Midlands Today with Will Faulkner. We discussed my campaign manifesto, and some of the important policies in this election.

The interview covers some of my tax and economic policies, addressing the issues and crisis we face today, and safeguarding out future.

Housing, Services, Transport, and the Environment

I spoke about the urgency of addressing the housing crisis, and investing in public services.

I raised the issue of rural and urban transport, where large improvements are needed to extend transport networks, make them more frequent, and extend the service times. We discussed the cutting on Bus Éireann routes.

We spoke about serviced self build sites in small communities, which can help support the population in towns and villages. I raised the issues on building using materials that are not reusable and have a large impact on the environment.

We covered the environment, where I mentioned my families farming background, and how I would like a more collaborative conversation around the environment to include farms. We need to better understand what farmers needs to design a fair transition to cleaner future.
